I will be moving to Geneva by the end of the summer. I just joined glocals and hope to meet some nice people and see what there is to do. Seems like a lot.
Does anyone here play volleyball - indoor or outdoor?

Welcome (soon) to GVA. It's a shame you'll come just as summer ends, but still - you're coming to a great place.
I play volleyball, and lots of other members who do as well. There's not a lot of beach volleyball action here (cos the summer is real short), but indoor volleyball is big. If you want to join a real team, or just come play once in a while, pls let me know.
So why are you moving to GVA?
And I'm always curious about this: what good + bad things have you heard of GVA already?

I'm glad to hear there's a lot of volleyball going on. Indoor, outdoor - no difference to me. I'm not sure about teams - I'm not a professional. But, I love competitive play. We'll see when I arrive.
Well, I don't care about good or bad things. I'm moving there and I plan on enjoying it. Every place has good and bad things. You simply have to maximize the former and minimize the latter. But, from what I can tell, the positives far outnumber any negatives.
