I moved to Geneva from Barcelona around this time of year last year. I froze my ass off, because I didn't have the right clothes for this climate. AND I got blocked by some of the bouncers at the clubs here for not being dressed "properly". (I'm still not quite sure what bouncers at SIP consider proper evening attire; I just never go there anymore...)

Oye, I miss the outdoor markets, the ocean, the sun, the friendly people... Here you have the mountains though...

Welcome to Geneva! It has been crazy for me too. I started taking French classes at Club Migros (cheapest) which is conveniently located by the Rive where all the stores are located. Since I am a musician I started taking singing at Club Migros too! We sing all languages and you don't have to speak French to understand the class. Everyone is friendly! Just be brave! Step up to Geneva! :P

Welcome to Geneva...

Yes I know about the bouncer of the SIP...and this fu.. sentence "do you have the card of the SIP"..

Concerning club migro..not the cheapest..université populaire de Geneve is cheaper (50chf for the year)..usually courses are full but lot of people are giving up quckly..then you can try..

If anyone is intereted to exchange his/her spanish with my french..would be even cheaper..I need to practice my poor spanish
