Greek PhD student - New in Geneva

Hello everybody,

My name is Harry. I'm admitted to do a PhD in Geneva. I'm very excited about it, particularly since I have never been to Geneva (or Switzerland for that matter) before and I can't wait to start knowing the city and its people. For the time being I have to overcome the obstacle of finding accommodation. If any of you have any suggestions please do not hesitate. Hopefully, I won't remain homeless for long  ; )

Helo Patriotaki!!!!

One question When are you coming??

Accommodation: In Geneva there i huge greek community contact them You never know They might know sth.

Chech every day (I mean it) anibis.ch

If you are searching for collocation easywg.ch I don't know how it works

Maybe you can also search in France for example Annemase very close and many people live there and working in Geneva

And search also in Canton de Vaud It's also convenient Check this site here  http://www.lausanne-tourisme.ch/en/hebergement/appartements.html

There are two files to download and check them every month cause tha list can change

Good luck with that Anything you need don't hesitate to ask me

Greetings, will you be attending the University of Geneva? They have a list of housing options. Here is one place where you can find some: http://www.genevasummerschools.ch/pages/practical.php?menu2=Housing. I am not here as a student, but I found (temporary) lodging in one of these places called RUI. I think they are full for the academic year, but perhaps there are vacancies in some of the other facilities. What is your PhD area?
