Greek snowboard enthusiast new in Geneva

Hello everyone

Just thought to write a few lines to intoduce myself as i am new in Geneva and ready to tackle the next adventure that life has thrown to me.

i am originally from Greece but be living for the last few years in UK-Manchester.

i just moved to Geneva 2 months ago to start my new job in the University Hospital as medical physicist.

One of the reason that i decided to come to Switzerland apart from being a beautiful country, is the fact that is a paradise for ski and snowboard fanatics like me. As the ski season is upon us i am planning weekend trips in the ski regions around geneva as i have a car so everyong who is a fun person and likes skiing or snowboarding is more that welcome to contact me if he/she would like to share a car in the future and a fun day in the mountains during the winter weekends. Apart from snowboarding i like any short of sports so if you like some good company while enjoying your favourite activity please do let me know. i also enjoy going out with friends for drinks, food and all the normal stuff.

Anyway thats it from me . Hope to see and meet some of you in future activities.

Here's to hoping this season is better than the last!!!

Welcome to the area! There's plenty of awesome places to explore in the search for snow, you won't be bored...you'll just wish the weekends were longer!

I'll be boarding for the first time this year, after years of skiing...so I'll see how that goes!

Hi Chris

Thanks for the welcome note

Yes indeed last year wasn't the best but so far it doesn't look that good either. No signs of snow yet but anyway still early so lets hope for the best. Its good to change once in a while and its good that you can ski and snowboard. Me i can only snowboard although i would like to learn skiing as well. Maybe this year that i am here i might take some lessons. Like you said if only weekends were longer.

Keep in touch for some joined adventures once the snow jets better.
