Hi there


I recently moved from Basel to Geneva and I would love to meet new people and discover the area. I am originally polish but grew up in the Basel area and I work in the pharmaceutical/medical devices industry.


I am interested in skiing (well I guess the season is almost over now...), swimming, movies, concerts, going out and just have some good chats over a beer or two :-)


Please let me know if there are any activities in the near future or if you are up for dinner/drinks.

If you're in town on Saturday morning then our Feed The Needy group would be happy to see you - we're always a bit short handed on holiday weekends. Either look under Things to Do, or follow this link:

We'd love to have you join us next time. Best way to know what's happening/when is to join the glocals group (follow the link I sent to the event page and click on the group), then you'll get a mail about a week in advance of future events.

Hi Kasia,


There is still good snow and ski resorts open at higher altitude. I am writing from Les Arcs, and the snow and weather here is great. The resorts at Paradiski (which is two and a half hours from Geneva) will stay open for at least another ten days, as  will Tignes, Val Thorens and Courchevel.
