I arrived in Geneva three weeks ago on a new job with one of the UN agencies.
Bit about me. I'm from India. Trained as a professional accountant and worked with one of the big four accounting firms for the past eight years in Bangalore, India. Love my (south Indian) filter coffee. Although I'm married, I will be staying alone here initially (what is referred to in Indian parlance as being a married bachelor) ! I'm a hard core sports fan (only watching), particularly Formula 1 racing and tennis. I speak two south Indian languages in addition to English - Kannada and Tamil. And boy would I love to learn French as well. I am interested in travelling too.
I'm really looking forward to my time here in Geneva and would love to meet up with others in glocals and fellow Indians. Cheers.

Welcome to Geneva SB B.
You will soon find out Geneva is a small but very pleasant international city with a great variety of things to do, partly with a little help from Glocals. You will even find an indian community. Lots of happenings so you'll always find yourself busy like a married bachelor can be.
First, when you open your Glocals page you'll see left hand side "latest things to do" and most recent events. Then, double check you haven't miss any good sport by scrolling through the label "Things to do". Last, join other Glocals with the new green label "Groups" for more regular activities pertaining to your favourite hobbies or interests.
Now get on to it and enjoy.
