Hello everyone!

Hi there,

My name is Ade and I will be in Geneva from July to September for an internship for the WHO; I have managed to secure accommodation for the start and end of my trip, but I am still looking for a place to stay for the month of August. Any suggestions would be welcome. My French is very much at a beginner's level, but I am in the process of taking lessons. I am looking forward to my stay in Geneva and again any suggestions on things to do, places to go would be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

Hey Ade,

Welcome to glocals and to Geneva :)

Have a look at the "clasifieds" section for all your house-hunting needs, and the "things to do" section and "exhange of things" forum thread for language tandems and cafe discussions in the language of your choice.

Whether it be hiking, sports, going out, you'll find something interesting in the "things to do".  If you can't find something you like, create your own event!  You'd be surprised at how many people turn up. ;)

Enjoy your summer!
