My name is Matteo and i am originally from Italy. I just arrived in Geneva and I will be around for at least three years. I work as a resarch associate at the University of Geneva.
I discovered a beautiful city (which never suspected) and a very cosmopolitan atmosphere (which I always enjoy). So I look forward to meeting plenty of new people and to getting to know the city better!

There's been quite an influx of Italians at glocals recently (I think I just replied to 2 of them).
Glad you like Geneva so far and that you're enjoying your new "environment".If you haven't already, go explore (and get lost) in the old town, and on a hot sunny day, pass underneath the Jet d'eau, it's a great way to cool down.

Thanks for the tips Froilan! I have already been around a little during the Fête de la musique this weekend (and the Fête further boosted what was already a pretty good first impression of the city).
