my name is Alessandro, I am Italian and I currently work as Software Engineer in France. At the end of August I will move to Geneva to start a new challenge at Microsoft.
As far as I understood, renting an apartment in Geneva is not the easiest thing to do, that’s why I am already starting the search: I will have a look to the offers in the Classifieds tab, but any suggestion is more than welcome :)

Congrats on your new job! You are right, finding a flat in GVA can be wearisome and very challenging because of the shortage of flats for rents in this region. If you can afford it, you can contact Leman Relocation, they're real estate brokers and against a fee they will find you the flat you want in no time. Usually flats that are not on the market. Look in France! Cross-border "frontaliers" come to Geneva - 92,000 per day.
If your work permit allows you to do this, much easier to find accommodation [less expensive too]!!
