What i really need is to get in contact with other mums. There is only so much interesting conversations you can have with a 4 year old(before the subject turns to fifi and the flower tots!)
So if there are any mums happy to help me with my plight(and to show me and mini me fun stuff to do),I would be very grateful!
Thank you1

Well i have a question.....do you have any events that include small people(kiddies!)?The reason whyu i ask is the fact that when we move we will loose our circle of babysitters. So alot of the get togethers we wouldnt
be able to make.....Please let me know.!

I'll asnswer your question about small kids in a bit, but let's start with the most important stuff first: tea! :) There's actually local stores over here that specialise in british food, incl tea. So you'll be safe...
As for activities for kids: there are occasionally Member-Activities posted for parents / kids. But the best option for you is simply to post something yourself, even if it's just a simple 'get together of mums / kids'. I am sure you'll get many people answering you.
As for babysitters: I know a few (had a kid myself 4 months ago), and will send them to you on email.
Do you know which area of geneva you'll live in? I'm asking this cos we're always keen to meet more parents who live around us, who we can do cross baby-sitting with...:)

Thanks for the reply. Also thank you for the info about the tea bags!
Well at the moment we are waiting for hubbies work permit to come through...then we will be looking
for a place. As soon as we know i will let you know.
It would be fab to meet up with other parents....for babysitting options and also to pick another parents brain about living in Geneva.
Myself and "mini me" are coming over in easter so she can look around:)Hopefully she will enjoy(and not just the plane flight!)
