Here I am too, finally
Feb 16, 2007 @ 01:21
Hi everyone! After two hectic week trying to sort out all the problems arisen with my transfer, I finally have some spare time to write an introduction. So... here we go! I arrived in Geneva from London at the beginning of February. It was a big jump (Ah, Coralie, how I understand you!) and I must say I feel quite lost. Despite having changed country several time, it seems this is a unavoidable condition. Beside, I don't really live in Geneva, though I work there. My house is in St. Genis-Pouilly, short distance from the Swiss border in Meyrin. That makes probably everything a bit more complicated. Anyway, I am really looking forward to meet new people: any offer welcome! There are many things I like but if I had to list of them the introduction would be too long. To keep it short, I can say I like very much to meet people from different countries (that was a strong point of my life in London). I also like very much classical music, and it seems, from my first approach that Geneva is quite active culturally (but I am looking forward to listening to St Pierre's organ). I am also looking for a French language exchange, because I want to learn it. And also (but I suppose it is quite difficult to find in Geneva) a Japanese language exchange. I can offer my English (I think it is quite good), my Italian, my long time experience in computing or, if you like, my passion for cooking! I think this is all, for the moment. I wish you all the best and I hope to see you all soon. Take care, Paolo

Welcome to GoL! After finding this site, hopefully you won’t feel lost for long. There are so many activities and things to do on GoL that it really makes meeting people (from all over) very easy. You can probably find a language exchange here too, or post an ad of your own. Good luck and hope to see you around.
