I'm not like the majority of the people of GoL, because I've almost ever lived in Geneva (except six months in Vancouver), but I'd like to meet some new people and maybe improve a little bit my poor English.
So don't hesitate to write me, I've never eaten anybody ;)

Welcome to the community neuneu.
There are a lot of other Swiss folks on GoL who have been in Geneva for many years...and it's great to have you with us.
I have always been curious to know: how do 'native geneva people' perceive the expats? if you tell us this, we'll tell you how most expats perceive most swiss...(-:
Welcome to GoL, and see you offline!

I just can say (with my words of course) that I think that the expats are a real benefit for Geneva. Because of the mix of all cultures, I really think we should try to profit of that. The only negative point I maybe can see is that expats sometimes don't make all the efforts to integrate themselves and speak too much their native language instead of trying to learn French.
But I don't think that it's a generality for Geneva!
By the way, many thanks to accept me, and I hope to know you very soon!
