Hello, as above.
New guy on glocals CH, but not new to CH itself (still speak crap German, but smooth as silk in French!)
Just back from a few weeks on an island off Sth Carolina in the USA. I burnt my back snorkeling (the SPF30 wasn't waterproof like it said on the tin!), my back is peeling and it itches like mad so pls excuse me when I stop to scratch!
I wrote a profile, after a fashion, last night but it hasn't been approved yet. Anyone know
how long it takes to get the nod here? Also, it appears that everyone but me has a chat function. Would that be activated when the text is approved? I've searched for the way to do it myself but haven't found it.
Hope to meet some of you before long, sink a few, swap a few tales, I see there's a Salsa
group-perhaps there's room for another geezer. I'm also a x-c runner & OL runner (orienteering) so may join one or more of your runs.
Other interests and useless info in the profile, if it's ever freed-up...........

Welcome to Glocals...Your profile will be approved shortly.
There are many members (all over Switzerland) and the SiteAdmin has to go thru each and every profile before approving...Yours will get approved as well.
Besides, everybody is busy in getting the new site online.
