Hi Susanne, there is a new group that organises hiking and other outddor activities for singles.

You may want to look at http://www.passion4nature.ch/

In addition, there are of course lots of other hiking groups, the International Ski Cub, Oxygene 74, Geneve Rando, etc. I've only tried Oxygene, which I like.

Further to Tawb's post Geneve Rando is female dominated (60-70% on the walks) and the walks tend to be in French but being Canadian that might not be a problem.  Some the walks are at a fast pace and some are more leisurely www.geneverando.ch

Oxygene 74 tends to be in Haute Savoie again and announces some of its walks  its walks on glocals, tends to be more French speaking than English - speed of walks depends on the leader.

rando-74.assoc.pagespro-orange.fr

Ski Club International is dynamic with a good programme https://www.scig.ch/en/summer-outings/  I know many members and I would say the age range is 30+ but I am sure Bill Larsen will correct me on this.

There is also the Club Alpin Suisse https://www.cas-geneve.ch/mCouAct.php?idGroupe=0&idActivite=0

age group 25+

and there are plenty of hikes announced on glocals

Hi Susan, I can recommend Friends of the Salève who meet on a Sunday in Véyrier at the terminus of the number 8 bus at 1000 with differing levels of walks. Roger
