Welcome to glocals and soon, welcome to Geneva!

You are right, there are *lots* of things to do here, although it's not like Paris or London, so as long as you don't compare, you'll be fine.

Just have an open mind, go to glocals activities to get your feet wet and then you'll get to know some people, some places and the sky's the limit from there.

Hi Herve, I'm going to be new too from the 19th of Jan. I'm beginning to get quite nervous - hopefully making friends will be easy!!!

@Emma, @Herve glocals makes it really easy to meet a GREAT bunch of GREAT people. Making friends in a new place couldn't be easier.

Welcome to GVA!

The start is a bit hard (like every move), but then it gets much better. check out the Geneva Things to Do section on glocals, and just get out there. You'll meet some good folks, some weirdos, and some in-between. You're likely to meet 2-3 folks that will become real friends, and that's a great start.
