I need a life after Rive!
I've been in Geneva now for eight weeks and all I've seen is from Palladium to Rive, I live at one and work at the other! Gol found me on Christmas Eve and I want to go out there and see what else I can find, I'm sure there must be life beyond Rive! Any pointers or suggestions will be greatly recieved.

Hi,
no need for despair! Geneva is small, but not that small! Try for instance Carouge - nice bars around Chat Noir (http://www.chatnoir.ch/) and it's also great for a walk on Saturday morning with all the little shops open. Offers as well couple of wine bars and nice restaurants.

here I am to help. There's life in Eaux Vives too as Tigs mentioned. It's a lot more animated during the summer when everyone is strolling around the lake, but there are some nice places.

Da Paolo and La Bodega already mentioned, there's N'oublies pas le poisson rouge (gramma mistakes aside), then there's L'addresse in Rue du 31 December (resto - cool palce to drink etc) ... then some other bars as well ... like Scandalo or the FMR ... just organize something and life after Rive will start!

Vale
