Hi everybody,

I introduce myself after having joined this forum. I live in Geneva since almost 50 years. Born in Italy, married to a wonderful men since 48 years. He is born in Alexandria, Egypt and left at 17 years old, he spent 2 years in Italy where we met and since he is in Switzerlad.

I've have worked for an american company /as my husband) and left after the birth of my children...a long time ago! Since, I have worked here and there as receptionist, accountan,t and my last 'job' has been for 10 years: italian cuisine's teacher. Lovely job since I love gastronomy and like to taste new flavours and new dishes, I also am delighted to prepare lebanese, indian, thai and so on. I'm retired but still love cooking... and travel.

as you assume, yes, I live in Geneva and I like it, though I think that the transportation and traffic policies are a nightmare.

Hi Rosy

Im sorry to read that, maybe you should consider moving over to Basel for our transportation is top. I live outside the city and I have a Tram every 7 minutes if not then a train to the city every 15 minutes. Over the weekends I can stay longer in the city if I want and they extended the Tram hours up to the eary hours, as well as s1, s3 (Train) hours. So what more do I want.
