Dear friendly Glocals people!
Alow me a moment to give you an introduction about myself through this forum.
My name is Pieter, I'm 36 years old and originally I'm from The Netherlands where I have lived in The Hague.
I have just moved to Switzerland (Basel-Stadt) on Friday August 31st.
I'm fluent in English and provicient in German but I need to catch up the German language again as I have not spoken this for a long time.
This is my first abroad experience in regards to working and living in another Country .
I will work here for at least two years at DHL Global Forwarding as a bid specialist. I work in a very international Team with members from all over the world and we're one big family.
But off course I am open to meet new people and to join events.
I have already participated a hiking event with a few colleagues last Saturday in Oberwald (alt. approx 1,370 meters) from where we hiked all the way to Furkapass (alt. 2,431 meters) which was fun!
By the way, cool that there's a 'New Members Introductions' forum in which new Glocals members can introduce themselves.
