Dear Fellow Members,
My name is Richard, born in South Africa, and have recently moved to Switzerland this year from the UK. I live in the "postcard" village of Maienfeld and my offices are in Bad Ragaz, another very lovely place about five minutes away from here. The reasons that made me relocate from the UK to here are simple really, England has become a true "Nanny State" and its getting worse day by day. It wasn't so when I left my native South Africa in 91, after retiring from the Army, but lately both professionally and personally it has really deteriorated beyond recognition. So, after two years of insisting, my two Swiss business partners got their wish and I came to live here.
Like everybody on this site, I would like to meet interesting people with whom to socialize, as aside from my two business partners and their ladies I know no one. Aside from work, I go to the gym everyday, and three times a week I have found a Dojo in Vaduz where I go and keep up my Martial Arts training. On the whole I am a simple guy, and like all South Africans I enjoy good company and good humor.
Regards to all of you,
Richard
