coming form a city with a population of 2,5 mio to the city of 120K "citizen" (Lausanne) - is a cultural and a lifestyle shock!
Hope to be able to handle this peacfullness and calmness....
Only since 3 weeks here - that were not that bad at the end of the day - as 2 out of 3 weekends I've been skiing ;)

Living in Switzerland has many positive points and glad you are enjoying the skiing! I hear things in Lausanne are going good and enjoy the community. Best wishes, Phil

hopefully! Hi, i too felt that way in the begining and still do at times... but after 5months, my life (thanks to GOL and it great members) has definitely picked up, plus it's getting brighter/warmer, so more and more activities popping up. so many to choose from, not enough weekends in the month!
I'm actually interested in sailing and was going to try and find something. if you're looking for something as well, let me know. I'm sure someone out there is a sailor amongst the <10,000 members. Yumiko
