I moved here almost two months ago but haven't really had time to surf this site until recently. Now I'm hooked!
So I moved here for work (UN) from NY where I also worked for the UN. I grew up just east of LA (Los Angeles) but was born in Mexico. I'm married but my husband is in NY. He's going back and forth and right now, it's more back than forth, with goal of being more forth than back by summer time.
I'm definitely looking to make friends. The weekends get lonely and I end up watching a lot of tv/movies off the internet. Right now, I spend most Saturdays at Balexert, not that I'm a shopping fiend or anything. So I'm looking for friends that we can just hang out at each other places, eating/drinking, watching movies; friends I can just call and say let's go to a movie, or come jogging/hiking/snow boarding with me. Couples would be good too for when my hubby gets here.
