Currently in New York. Moving to Lausanne in April to live with my boyfriend and looking to make new friends as well as a job in the Fashion Industry/Manufacturing of clothing/Production job in the Vaud area. Open to position and location.
Any other information you think i would need to know regarding moving or living in Lausanne?
Open to meeting anyone but would be great to make other latin friends since i only am fluent in Spanish and English. I hope to learn to speak french very soon though and am excited about that as well as my move :P
Would appreciate any help.

Welcome (soon) to Lasuanne. It's going to be exactly like NY, only the opposite...:)
Seriously, you and Hubby are coming to a good place. The first few months are likely to be less easy (as is the case with every move), but after that there's a good chance you'll fall in love with the city. Not to mention that there's a big Latino local community (I'm already waiting for weekends on your balcony with spanish tapas! :)
Let us know if there's any specific info / advice you need.
And once you get here, check out the many Lausanne Member-Activities going on, and get in touch with JulianT, who is the spirit of glocals in Lasuanne.

LOL...i've noticed! Actually my bf is swiss and already there. Making the big move partly for him :w00t: LOL!!! Still, its very exciting! The country is aesthetically beautiful and there are so many active sports to do...LUV IT!!!
Yes, i've heard that Lausanne has many latins but i've yet to see that. Yet to see any in fact and I have been to Switzerland 3 times so far (the last time was for 2months).
Unfortunatly our balcony in Lutry is VERY small BUT we are in the vineyards and there is a kool little wooden table/bench set right in the middle of it (very endearing)...we often just sit there and chat and drink our wine from the local winemakers. So, Tapas in the vineyards it is!! Yey glocal'ers!!!
Julian T has also sent me a welcome mail :D. So glad my friend told me about this site since i've found it a bit more challenging than expected to make friends in Switzerland. I only have 2 friends there and i've met them through other websites. I noticed that websites or groups like this is my best bet. Still, a challenge whether good or bad is still a challenge and i welcome it with open arms :P!
