Life, Spirit, Music
Hey there

I'm an ex Hastings UK man living (hermit-like) in my home studio on an emmental farm.

I moved here about 17 years ago with a swiss wife and have 3 amaziing swiss kids but lived

seperately the last 3 1/2 years

Expressing myself thru all kind of music is my thing... I do a singer/songwriter thing on the guitar and also produce a chilled out hybrid of world/folk/electronica scapes & stomps.

I generally prefer the DIY musicians label approach but am bugging some cool UK labels about releasing my current feelgood Dub sounds.

I also sing with some swiss guys in a solothurn/olten based progressive rock band.

I'm a friendly, fun, open & tolerant artist type of guy, deeply interested in all forms of spirituality & community. I'm big on scifi, love travelling, dancing, nature, literature & art.

I'm also bipolar (manic depressive) which basically means i am confident, talkative & intense at times and shy, quiet & paranoid at others... but i generally find the two poles to be such a creative blessing that i cannot bring myself to see it as a sickness or disease :)

I'm here because i don't get out enough and need a circle of english speaking friends, especially music lovers!

Have a great one!

Dave (Zozzy)

i thought that doctordonna was genius too.... wild timelord consciousness leaping into

people as if the reproductive survival instinct of the last of a species finally kicked in.

I heard the first 5 minutes of the bbc torchwood radio show this morning... set in Switzerland :D

Hello Chrissie

LotR has been a huge influence on me.

We read the Hobbit as part of our final primary school year curriculum and LotR was my first adult book shortly after. i became a fantasy bookworm and through a uk scifi & fantasy magazine i read about progressive rock music oft using epic fantasy & mythological stories as inspiration. After first hearing Yes, early Genesis, King Crimson etc I knew that was what i wanted to do in life. write & sing epic tales, create soundscapes that conjure up distant worlds & creatures. i don't do wizards, elves or hobbits but the odd tea-drinking pixie or mad hatter turns up now & then :)

I was never a big TV person but since the reinvented Dr who & things like Life on Mars, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, Torchwood, Primeval & Prison break i've become quite the addict. I think i preferred it when the good writers were writing novels, short stories & X-men comics :) I used german X-Men comics to help me learn the language when i first arrived here.... at least that was my excuse ;)
