I'm from "America". I am both Canadian and American. I have a unique point of view since I have lived in both countries for many years, going back and forth.

I am very interested in developing a network of Europeans who want to import and export. The USA and Canadian trade situation will not improve for a number of years and for many reasons.

For example, I have access to excellent wine that I can indenpently bottled in USA, but I cannot sell it in Canada. I have access to great unique food products in Canada, but cannot be sold in USA.

Hi Benoit: I am a good listener. I met a man 2 weeks ago. I shared my ideas for a prototype device. He was mildly impressed. Then I asked him: what is your idea? His idea was better, and I will help him finance his prototype. You never know what will happen when people exchange ideas.

Years ago I went to a convention that had toy vendors from different countries.

I was impressed with hand-made toys from Switzerland.

If I find a supplier of unique quality toys for children, then I will import them for the American market.

In another example: the USA are importing many expensive Panasonic products from Japan or Asia. They are very good products, but there is no competing product that is similar. Why is the USA importing 3 billion dollars from only one manufacturer, I ask myself. The answer is because there does not seem to be any other company, anywhere is the world, that has the capital or knowledge to "white-label" a similar product for export. If such a similar product were built in Canada, then the USA would prevent it's import. Apparently the reasearch and develeopment of Panasonic products are in Germany and Japan. Surely there must be a network of entrepreneurs in surrounding Switzerland that can connect me with people in Germany that would be interested to compete for the growing market in the USA.

Three years ago I met a video photographer. I asked him his business was doing well? He told me he did not have a good network. Oh I said, no problem. I introduced him to the world of political advertising. There are constant elections in Canada and USA, maybe everywhere (I don't know). Now the video  photographer is very busy in a niche market very few entrepreneurs are competing.

I like immigrants from every country. Why? Because when they come to Canada or USA, they see opportunity everywhere. Doors to investors are open. If they see a closed door, then they will find another door that is open for business. Generally, there is no social discrimination when it concerns business. Ah ... but wait ... there are some areas of the Americas that have a social hierarchy, but to be successful is to avoid those geographical areas or industries that openly discriminate or is highly unionized, thus suppressing inovation and creativity.

Well you sure seem to have plenty of ideas! That's cool! A real entrepreneur mind! Bravo for that.

Although I like to stick to what I do, which is videos. because like the great Arnold Schwarzenneger once said; "Plan B is to succeed at Plan A!" :-)
