Morning Gol-lers & Gol-lasses
Having read through some of the earlier posts it seems that I fall into the category of: "Been based in Switzerland half of my life (mainly Swiss French part but also Swiss German part) been living in GVA for over 7 years, thought I knew most of GVA & all the various sights & sounds of the area" till a friend directed me onto GOL. Was very sceptic to sign on as there are so many "get together" "find a freind online" programs out there nowadays but with the "what the heck attitude " of mine I finally signed up. I truly believe that this is exactly what has been missing in GVA for all those who either find it difficult to meet people, settle into the Genevan way lof life or simply want to expand their social circles beyond that of their working colleagues (Trust me-it's all too easy to always hang out with office colleagues and never make that step to find pastures green elsewhere). Having hopped on board and fastened my seatbelt, I'm now ready to be part of the GOL family. Hope to see you around soon. Cheers! Mikstar

welcome aboard... you'll never turn back to the old ways. your colleagues may start missing you, but you'll never have a dull weekend ever again! :)

Yeah, GOL changes life more surely than plastic surgery, the church of holy grail or lacanian therapy

.....you would approve. Then again, most credit should go to you as you managed to persuade me to join the GOL family.
