Hey!
I'm moving over to Nyon in a couple of weeks from Nottingham, UK for a new job. It would be great to meet some new people, improve my (terrible) French and get some advice on which restaurants, music bars and jogging routes are the best - and which bar to be stood in when the World Cup kicks off!
Any tips and advice for a young professional moving to Switzerland would be greatly appreciated from you all!

good luck with your move, hope all goes well. I'm not sure about bars in Nyon but there are some English bars in Geneva (clubhouse, lady godivas). Not too sure on bars tbh as I'm usually too drunk to know the name of the place!
there are some language exchange groups on glocals which are great for meeting new people and of course exchanging languages, although I would suggest going to a group one rather than a one-on-one safety in numbers and all that!
