Well I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! Although not quite yet moved to Geneva from the UK, I will be doing so in the next few weeks and aim to be there by 20th August! I discovered this site about a week ago, signed up and have pretty much visited every day to see what's been happening and what activities are planned!
It's a great site and the info that I have found on here...from gyms, apartments for rent, activities, lifestyle or where a girl can get her legs waxed ha ha!....It has been of real interest and use! Not to mention the warm welcome that all newcomers seem to enjoy! (I visited one site some time back and one poor girl practically got lynched for asking a question! Needless to say I've not gone back to that one!)
Anyway, I am looking forward to the move, if a little apprehensive and that's why I hope I'll be able to get involved in as many of the events as possible when I arrive...

That is a great introduction and I hope you enjoy Geneva. This website is an excellent way to make the most of the city and to meet new people. Will look forward to saying hi to you at one of the next glocal parties or events. Best wishes, Phil (also from the UK!)
