Hi Fab,

Welcome (soon...) to GVA. You're coming to a real nice place.

3 tips on finding apts here:

1. Start looking early, cos it may take a while.

2. Check out these 3 sites know what's on the market:

3. If you see a place you like, apply for it immediatly. It's such a sellers market, that all places go very quickly.

Good luck mate!

Nir

Hi,

I used a relocation service which found for my the perfect flat according to my expectations in one week and two visits. I know I have been lucky but I think it's worth the expense as the market is so difficult and they have opportunities that you won't even find on the Internet.

Write me back if you want me to get you in contact with them.

And welcome in this beautiful place!

Guillaume

The www.worldradio.ch site has, like glocals, a classifieds section with a real estate section. You also need to register, which is free. However if you aren't going to use the services of a relocation company you do need to start looking quick (maybe even come earlier on your own etc). It can be hard to find the right place. Living here you get the feeling that the population is outgrowing the available housing...

Thanks to all for your replies!

I am already checking regularly the websites for available apartments however they are available too soon! From September I will start seriously and make calls to the contacts.

Guillaume I would like you to put me in contact with  this relocation service or giving me their details at least to see what they can offer and know their fees.

I have also registered to www.worldradio.ch, thanks for the tip!!

Talk to you soon

Thanks again
