New In Epalinges (Near Lausanne)

Hi,


I am a 22 year old Brit who has just moved to Epalinges which is ten minutes out of Lausanne on the metro. I am hoping to meet some other people in the area who speak English. I am working on my French but at the moment it is not at a conversational level. I am currently working as an au pair meaning that I have the weekends off, I also have time in the mornings and afternoons but it is not as easy to get into Lausanne during those times.


I hope I can meet some other local people,

Welcome to glocals and to Lausanne!


I suggest that you click on the “Groups” tab to find members with similar interests in and near Lausanne and also check “Things to do” every day.  You will soon see that there is plenty to do and also that there are quite a few au pair girls in the area.

Hi Jess have you arrived in Switzeland already? I am 24 and from the UK too arriving this Friday to Morges just outside Lausanne. I will be working in one of the international schools so also have the weekends free. I have not really spoken much french since GCSE but am keen to relearn if you fancy finding some course or club together that might be fun, just let me know! Katie
