After a two year break from Geneva, I have been lured back to the land of milk and honey. I am happy to be back and would love to meet all those who have moved here since and joined Glocals. That may be a big undertaking but willing to meet all 132,000 of you :)

Hi Joan and welcome back to Geneva.
I lived in NY for a few years, and I know how strange it can be to come back to 'quiet and calm' Geneva after the hustle and bustle of New York.
Hopefully, you had enough of the NY energy and are now in the mood for some calmer times.
The good news is that there are 30,000 glocals members, not 132,000, so meeting all of us will be easier than you thought :-)

Thanks for the welcome. It is easy to be in either city. I know how each rolls and adjust accordiningly. Do you happen to be Nir's brother?

what a great idea, i'll bring my bawl, and a chawklit egg cream recipe.
i'm up for a new yorkers get together any time. wouldn't it be great to meet up at Harry's New York Bar? it's in montreux though, but why not :-)
i'm from manhattan, in the Inwood area (washington heights)
i met on line a few years ago, a woman who lives in bern, who's father owned the candy store/soda fountain just a few blocks from where i lived....it was so unreal.
