Have a look at the "Things-to-Do" pages - there are all kinds of things, including family-friendly activities. Also, join some groups - Literature, Art, Russian, entrepreneurs, etc. - there is no lack of appropriate groups you can find others with common interests, or find new interests!

One thing to know about is that the summer in Geneva is really awesome. Music, festivals, movies, sports, etc. There is no lack of things to do here. I, for one, am frequently at the CinéTransat which is an free, open-air movie festival which is currently in its 4th season, and the second of six weeks. We have a group you can join to learn more about it or you can go to their website, www.cinetransat.ch.

thank you for the kind reply: ) I do appreciate it, and Kiev is the city I was born in, and spent most of my life at: ) So I can't deny it's beauty.

Your advise is highly appreciated, I've just registered in some groups, and hope that in the nearest future my friend-list will grow : )

I loved Kyiv, too. I would love to return....those Maidan.....ummmm, it's become a bit ugly....

well welcome to geneva i hope you find that it has so much more to offer thn partying. it is such.a great place of adventure i am a teacher in music and hope that you enjoy the crazy weather we have been getting.if you ever want coffee or just to enjoy the scenery or need a friend to enjoy tea or coffee or a drink with. let me know  hope your weeks are full of fun
