Hi,

my name is Birgit and I just joined Glocals. I come from Innsbruck (Austria) where I work part time at the university. In the rest of my time I write on my thesis and do so in Lausanne as my boyfriend lives here. Me being Austrian and him being Italian we do know the area of Lausanne a bit, but are very keen on meeting new people who share similar interested and getting to know the region a bit better. I enjoy doing sports even though I am still recovering from a recent ski accident, but already am able to go running, biking, hiking and swimming again. In winter I enjoy doing skitouring and skiing. As my french is still to be improved I would like to meet with French people and practice the language as well.
