I just arrived in Lausanne this Sunday - I was relocated with my company from their London office to their Geneva office but I am living in Lausanne not far from the station. I hope to meet some nice people to hang out with - I like running, and I already joined the Lausanne running group, but also just to go for coffee, see a bit of Switzerland and have a nice time.

Welcome :) Can you tell me what it's like living in Lausanne but working Geneva? That may be a possibility for me, depending on accomodation pricing/availability.
Surely winter anywhere else is still sunnier than a British summer yes? ;)

so far it seems fine - there are certainly a lot of other people at the station in the morning so apparently it is quite common to do the commute, and there are always plenty of trains!
I don't remember us having a summer in Britain this year... :-)
