New in Lausanne

Hello everyone,

I arrived in Switzerland in the end of the March but, I was living in La Tour-de-Peilz. I just moved to Lausanne and join Glocals. I hope make new friends and find out what this country has to provide me!

I speak intermediate English and I need to improve it. So if anyone knows of a good private tutor or wants to do language exchange please let me know.

Hi Larissa

You didn't say what your native language is. I assume it's French? If so, I would love to do a language exchange. I speak native English, and am trying to improve my French.

Hi Larissa

I don;t think I can cope with learning Portuguese now (I'm still overwhelmed with trying to imrove my FrenchSmile). However, I think if you'd like to chat in French, that would be excellent as we can practise togehter.

Hi Larissa,

I also just moved to Lausanne (I am originally from Germany but lived abroad the last 7 years) and I am looking for fun people to hang out with. PM me in case you want to meet for a coffee or a girly cocktail.

Welcome in Lausanne.

If you want to meet new people there are usually social events organised by Glocals people and you can find them in the list of events in Lausanne. Usually there are always a couple of events going on on Wednesday. This is a good way to get to know new people, it helped me a lot when I moved in town.

Cheers

Oi Larissa (seja bem-vinda),

I am Brazilian too, living in here for 4 years now. A good resource to learn French is the Unil Tandem program, completly free. Here's the link: http://www2.unil.ch/tandem/. You will exchange your language for a language you want to learn. I did it and it was very cool.

And, if you are willing to meet new people, just let me know :)

See you.
