New in Zürich

Dear Everyone

Just wanted to introduce my self.

I arrived to Zürich last Friday and staying for 1,5 year working as a legal councel for a company. I am from Denmark but, born and spent my childhood in Russia.

I was very happy to get a tip about this network and look forward to participate in some events!

I love salsa, sports in general, travelling and hiking and social events like partys, drinking coffee or beer in cafés, moovies and stuff like that. I hope to meet some new interesting people here so we can explore our new home together and make the everydaylife and especially the weekends more fun!

Is there anything going on this weekend?

Welcome to Zurich and Glocals!!! We are a lovely and friendly bunch of people (a good sense of humour and always ready to party ;-D) here on Glocals.



There are a variety of events organized by members, but we also have some regular weekly and monthly activities (check out the member activities page). To start with, I would suggest you to attend one of the Wednesday night drinks. The Wednesday night drinks is organized in a bar which is just reserved for Glocals members. 50-70 people get together every week.



This weekend we have a few things going on.

Friday, we go Salsa dancing!

Saturday, we go partying!

Sunday, if the weather is good, you will find most of the people by the lake..

ice hockey is on this weekend, the world championship final is on in bern on sunday, it may even be russia, im not sure.  dont worry about a ticket, there should be loads of cheap black market tickets and people selling ones where friends couldnt make it, you wouldnt pay more than face value.  if you wanted to go, im probably going to travel up from geneva, i could meet you there, i dont have a ticket either!

zurich has loads going on, great gigs and shows im sure your find something to amuse your self, check out 20 minutes newspaper for a listing of whats on this weekend.
