Hey everyone!

I'm not sure how active this forum still is, but someone mentioned this could be a good place to start making some connections and maybe even find some friends! I moved to Lausanne almost two years ago from Paris (originally Chicago) and have been so caught up in getting settled - work, apartments, all those fun bureaucratic adventures - that I haven't had much time to meet people.

A bit about me: I'm a pretty friendly guy who loves anything creative. I'm teaching myself piano and guitar (emphasis on "trying to"), love cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and I'm into photography - though I'm definitely that person who takes amazing shots of everyone else and somehow ends up with the worst photo when it's my turn!

I'm a bit of a geek at heart - fascinated by languages, computers, and love getting lost in a good book. I speak French, English, and Spanish, and I'm currently battling with German as a complete beginner. 

I love hiking and being outdoors, but I'm also someone who's always up for trying new things. Painting classes, pottery, dancing - I'm that guy who's sometimes a bit too ambitious with new projects, but hey, at least I'm never bored!
