New member: Looking for accommodation in Geneva

Dear all,


Let me first introduce myself to you, my name is Nour and I am from Jordan.


I got a job to work with one of the NGOs in Geneva (MSF) which is located in rue de lausanne. I will start my job in Geneva on the 1st of October 2018 and I am planning to move to Geneva by the mid of September 2018. I will work there as a Finance ERP support officer for at least one year and I am looking for a room in a shared flat or studio, my budget is maximum 1500 CHF more or less depending on the place and the location.


I've been working with MSF for many years in different places before getting this opportunity to work in Geneva, my background is accounting and finance, I am a non-smoker, very friendly and quite person.


Please let me know if you have any suitable room or studio available or if you can give me any advice, anything would be very highly appreciated.

Finding a flat can sometimes be exhausting, specially in Geneva. Here's a list of sites to look at:


- https://www.anibis.ch/fr (ads mostly in french)


- https://www.immobilier.ch/


- Classifieds Section in Glocals.

I  have a room to rent in my flat for 900 CHF but I live close to Nyon, in Eysins. It's 6 minutes by bus for the station and then 15 minutes by train to Geneva. Does this interest you?

first in Rue de Lausanne and costs 1200.- 


2nd: in petit Saconnex in the back of Wipo building 900.-
