New to Geneva + looking for Pizzeria recommendations

Hi all :)

I'm new to Geneva (Feb 2018) loving the city so far (although hard to make friends outside of work!)

Also on the hunt for a really good pizzeria (as authentic as possible) Any recommendations?

If you want to hear the opinion of an Italian (yours humbly), the best Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Geneva is Giardino Romano in rue de St. Jean 30:

Hi Aisha

If you like going out to dinner, you are really welcome to join my restaurant group. We go to a new place in Geneva every other week. I try and change the district, price and cuisine each time. Places are limited to 8 people each time, so it's a nice fun intimate group and its a great way to meet new people and make friends!

Hi Aisha,

I would recommend to you Cinecitta in "Les Eaux Vives". They have a great VIP pizza if you are really hungry for fresh ingredients.

Big fan of Spaghetti d'Oro at 56 rue de Carouge - it looks quite average from the outside but the food is delicious, the pizzas hang off the plate, and the homemade pastas are divine.

Luigia is fantastic, food in Geneva is generally bad and takes some time to find the good spots. Another great gem I found was Lavilla in St Genis Pouilly if you want a decent steak. For a good t-bone, you’ll need to drive to Chamonix and find a place called MBC. Thai food at Kempinski & Vernier, Indian Curry at a place called Nirvana (near Cern) and for the best burger in town, there is a food truck called Brooklyn Kitchen, beats everyone hands down and I think I’ve eaten every burger on offer in Geneva. There is also a place that makes great pizza and other dishes in Plan-les-Ouates called Epic, they’re only open for lunch from Monday to Friday.  There is this great place in the old town that just does chicken and fries, can’t remember the name but its goooood! The Clubhouse in Paquis does the best pulled pork burger on earth, I’ve eaten some good ones in the US but this place tops them all.
