New to Geneva from Italy (Rome)

Hi, I'm Nick, I'd like to introduce myself.

I'm living in Geneva (actually I'm living in Ferney-Voltaire) since this summer.

I'm a 24 years old architect from Rome where I got my degree last year. I knew about this website from a user with whom I shared a car ride from Zurich to Geneva. During the trip we spoked a lot about the city, the difficulty to meet other people and the culture of the place where we both live so he suggested me to signup to Glocals... so, here I am :)

Living in Geneva as an Italian, used to chaotic city-life that a 3 millions  inhabitants city like Rome can offer, can be pretty hard, especially at the beginning when you don't know all the "rules" and customs that a new culture can hide. I think that the best way to find out how a city and its couture really are is to meet knew people, to talk, to share thoughts and of course to have a beer with them.

Said that, just to introduce myself a little better

I love architecture. I study it, I design it, I take pictures of it. This passion leads me to many city and countries in Europe. Switzerland has a lot of contemporary interesting buildings and when I can I'm happy to go to along with my camera visiting new places like Zurich, Lausanne and Basel. During the week to keep fit I usually go to the gym or run in the countryside or on the lake shore and hopefully I'm going to join the Geneva Runners meetings.

I just want to say hi to everybody and "see you soon"
