New to Geneve/Glocals/Switzerland

bonjour/hello

My name is Pete and I am 24 year old Brit and will moving out to Geneve in early January to start an internship there. Very excited to explore a new city and meet new people, so if anyone has any tips of what to do and see in Geneve (or in the area), or wants to meet for a coffee or a beer than that would be great!

Also, I have been working on my french though it is still a bit shaky so I could trade some of my English for someones French over a drink as well.

Hi Pete,

Welcome (soon) to Geneva.

The main tip, and I'm sure you heard this already, is to ensure you have a place to stay! The rental market here is super tight, and finding a place can take a long time. Hope the company you'll intern with will take care of that for you.

Apart from that, bring your skis and warm clothes...(-;
