New to Glocals

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new to the forum.  Originally from Manchester, UK, I've been living in Grindelwald for the past three years and have now set down roots in the area.  My wife Swiss and we're set to stay in the Interlaken region.

About myself, Originally came here teaching Skiing and since have done lots of different jobs, and have just this year set up my own business running kayaking tours and coaching.  I can't get enough of kayaking myself and love to share my passion for it whether sea kayaking, white water, surf or just enjoying the fantastic lakes that Switzerland has to offer.

I also have a website up and running so feel free to take a look www.hightide.ch and our facebook page has lots of pictures on it to try and tempt you out on the water in this fantastic sport.

Apart form that, I'm always looking out to catch up with new people and if anyone wants any help or advice about the sport or practicalities in Switzerland hopefully I can be of some service too and I look forward to becoming an active member of the forum,

Thanks for reading and have a nice day :-)

Cheers,

Dave
