New to Lausanne, new to glocals! :)

Hey!

I just arrived in switzerland. I'm here to seek a job and since I didn't brought any friends, I kind of need some. I'm also trying to learn french (already know the basics, just need some practice), I know English and Spanish (both mid level) and Portuguese (native), so if you want to learn or practice some of these languages, we can help each other ;) If you want to go for a coffee, a walk, a beer, or just to chat, please tell me :) I don't live in the city but I go there often (I'm living in Froideville).

Now I'll explore the website...

Soo, I read in glocals is a event tonight at the great escape around 8:30pm, what do you think if we meet there and also we find old glocal people? the event says that will attend like 30 persons. So,could be nice

Hi new guys and not so new. A warm welcome.

If you check "Things to do" there you will find loads of Events, that you will never be alone again. Just pick and choose what interests you.

Dont forget to learn the language, for if you want to live in this country, you better speak one of the local languages then your stay will be smooth.

Have an aweful and pleasant stay in Switzerland.

Thank you for your replies. Today I can't go to the event. But we can meet anyway, any other day, if it's ok for you, It doesn't have to be an "official" event.

Event last night was cool, quite a lot of people attended it.

Anyway if you organize a meeting in the weekend I would be more than glad to join, it is not long I am in here as well and it is always nice to meet some new people. (I suggest to create an official event).
