New to Lausanne
Hey Everyone,

I am from the US, more specifically Orange County, California. I relocated here for work, at least for two years. I am looking to meet new people and have fun. I don't speak french, but will take classes soon.

Things that I am interested in:

1. Learning how to ski!!

2. Learning how to speak French (sometimes it is a bit difficult to get around without knowing the language).

3. Having fun.. pretty outgoing, but initially shy.

Hope to meet all of you soon.

Welcome to Glocals... I've only been to OC once many years ago but I enjoyed my brief stay there. Hopefully you'll enjoy your stay here in Lausanne and get to do the things you mentioned and more. Keep an eye out for local events and you'll be in for a lot of fun!

See you around...

I am orginally from DC but home in the States is now Thousand Oaks, CA (Malibu)- small world.  I just moved to Morges from DC for work.  I am trying to get out and meet new people.  My two things I need to accomplish before I leave Switzerland are learning french and learning to ski also.

Let me know if you ever need to chat to someone about the warm sunny Cali days or the crazy lifestyles there.

Amanda

Hi Kimberly

welcome to Lausanne...come and meet some new people tonight at the Kai Zen (after work event) from 6PM.... it's a great place, good food drinks and a large Anglo-phone clientele! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=32988865683;)

Maybe see you there...bring a friend or colleague along with you!
