Minnesota is also a beautiful place to live, very green with a strong bicycling and walking culture in Minneapolis. It is also very flat. I find the mountains near lausanne to be breathtaking but a tad intimidating. Lausanne is lovely so far! The trails near the lake are gorgeous to run on.

If you can ship over a case of Summit EPA, or better yet Sweet Child of Vine and I'll meet you guys anywhere. I used to fly to MSP once a month and definitely miss it.

Welcome to Switzerland! My husband and I just moved here a month ago from Minneapolis as well! We're in Geneva though, so about 30 minutes away from you guys by train. I'm not working either though, so if you ever want to get together and explore, let me know! :)

Hey there, my family is from St Vincent area, and still have family in the cities and Bemdji. 

Yes Minny is a nice place to live for sure.  I think in the end you will really like it here, the outdoors and life style is healthy and clean.
