New to Switzerland

Hello. Arrived in Geneva in October from London area with husband & 21 month old daughter. Will be settling in Gland in mid December. As a stay at home mum, with husband working long days, and not able to speak much French, I am finding life quite lonely. Would like to get to know/meet others like myself and find English speaking mother & toddler group to join in Geneva & Gland areas. Please get in touch.

Hi Michelle,

Welcome (to you and the family) to CH and to glocals!

I think most folks here know what you're going throgh right now. The first few months are tough, especially if you're not in the city center. But after the first period it gets MUCH better, I promise...Foot in mouth

I suggest you post something on the Things-to-Do section about some mums getting together around Gland, and see who bites.

I often hang out in play groups in GVA with my boy (2 y.o), so if you're willing to come out here - you alreadz have a friend...

Enjoy glocals!
