New to Zurich from Barcelona (originally German)

Hi Everybody,

My Name is Christoph, 38, from Munich. Since January, I am working in Birr, close to Zurich (more or less close, half an hour!)

I am new to Switzerland, and it’s quite different from Barcelona where I lived before.

Actually, I’d like to continue to speak the foreign languages I learned abroad, French, Spanish, Chinese… in tandem – any good websites / forums to look for tandem?

I am also looking for a flat-share in Zurich, and to meet nice people in general, go out etc.

I started (again) to dance Salsa, and if you can recommend classes and Salsa parties, I am very interested! All of this not only in Zurich, but also in Baden area.

Hi Chris,

welcome to Zurich and Glocals!

good point to start would be the Thursday drinks or Friday or Saturday drinks!

check out the members activity tab. There are several activities going on. If you don't find anything that interests you, go ahead and post your favorite activity!

Hi, thanks for the info, yes I'll try to join some activities! Seems to be a quite active site and a good starting point for newcomers here.
