I mainly joined to meet new people and find stuff to do here in Switzerland, as it seems there are less things to do in the winter time around here asides from eating out, hitting bars, or Skiing and Snowboarding, which is pretty much the only activity I have done since it got cold.
I also would like to see if there is a local poker game that goes on in Lausanne or nearby. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you. Enjoy the last hours of the weekend!

You asked about the Poker. The occasional Hold 'em game is posted in Member-Activities. But your best bet is to post yourself a Poker think in Member-Activities, and see who'll be up for joining. I'm pretty sure you'll find more than a few players.
And given that you come from tough LA, you'll probably fleece all us locals...:)
