Hi everyone, 

First of all, I wanted to wish you a Happy New Year.  I just arrived to Lausanne and thought this would be a good place to get to meet some people.

Originally I'm from the US but have been conquering Europe for the last 11 years, having lived in Germany (got sick of wearing long underwear) and Spain (ate and drank too much).  So here I am, in Switzerland, having to go back to putting on the suit and tie.

It would be great to get to meet some other people in my situation.  We can have a beer, go for a run, play some basketball or backgammon, I'm up for whatever.
