Are there others out there who are not exactly in Geneva? Are there ever some activities in this direction? Is anyone interested if I would try to propose something in this area?

Hi. I've lived in Savoie (near Chambery) in France for a little over 2 years now. I love the area I live in, but it is difficult to meet new people especially given my very limited French. I decided to join this site to see how this could work. I am in Geneva from time to time, but mostly just to the airport and back... I'm not too far away and I am open to the drive from time to time, but I don't think I can justify a "Tuesday evening" type trip.
