Hello,
I am coming back to Vevey after being back home for 5 months (U.S.) My last tenure in vevey lasted a month, and I realized it was not really that easy to meet friends outside of a bar, so I just thought i'd give this a try!
Also, I am looking to join a gym.. any reccomendations? I have never been to a non american gym, so I am not exactly sure what to expect!

There's a gym in La Tour de Peilz - Fitness La Tour or Lets Go fitness in Vevey. I'm a member at La Tour. It depends what you want, I signed up to La Tour for the classes - I hate machines! They are both quite expensive though. If the gym behind the station is still open avoid it!

Thanks, i will check into both.. I am typically treadmill/machines.. I like classes but feel foolish and uncoordinated!

I come from a city of 2 million, so vevey is small!.. its not too bad though, just boring during the day, I can find plenty of bars at night!..
